Managing Your Account
Going paperless is a great way to stay organized and get your plan correspondence sustainably. Plus, you’ll receive communications faster and be able to access them on the go. Sign in below to select your paperless communication preferences.
Forget your password or need to reset? All you need is your Member ID number, which you can find on your ID Card. Then, follow these steps:
- At the top of any page on our site, click the SIGN IN button.
- When the Sign In screen appears, click “Forgot Your User ID or Password?”
- On the “Reset Your Password,” fill in your date of birth and Member ID number and click “Validate.”
- Enter your name and update your email address (if necessary). Then answer the security question you selected when you registered.
- While you’re here, you can choose to go paperless and be notified when communications are sent to your secure online Message Center.
- After you complete and submit this form, a new screen will open, asking you to enter and confirm your new password. Once you create your new password, you’ll be able to access Member Online Services right away.

There are two ways to request a replacement Member ID card:
- Sign in to myEmblemHealth. Under “Tools,” click “Request ID Card.” Update any information that may have changed and click “Submit.”
- Your new ID card will arrive in the mail in five to seven business days. If you need an ID card right away, click on “Print Temporary ID Card.”
- Call Customer Service. Select the Customer Service phone number for your plan. Or sign in and select “Call Customer Service” under “Tools.”
Paying Your Monthly Bill
As an EmblemHealth member with a Qualified Health Plan or Essential Plan, either on or off the NY State of Health Marketplace, you can pay your premium (or monthly plan cost) here.
First payment
To start coverage, we must get your first payment for your premium, or the amount you pay each month, no later than 10 days after the due date on your first bill.
Paying your monthly bill
If you enrolled directly with us online, sign in to your account and submit your first payment at any time before your payment due date. You can also send us a check with a copy of your invoice.
Did you get coverage through the New York State of Health Marketplace? If so, pay using the choices below:
- Online: You can pay securely here. You will need your member ID number to make this payment. This number appears on the bill you got.
- By mail: Send us a check with the bill you got in the mail. Allow at least two business days for us to get your payment. If you think we might not get it by your bill’s due date, pay online. If you have questions, call us at 888-447-7703 (TTY:711). Our hours are 8 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday.
Did you choose coverage directly through EmblemHealth?
If so, pay:
- By mail: Send us a check with the bill you got in the mail.
Haven’t gotten your bill by mail?
We may still be processing your application. Processing takes about two business days. If more than two business days have passed, please call us at 888-447-7703 (TTY:711). Our hours are 8 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday. We’ll be happy to help.

If you signed up online and didn’t get an email bill, it may be because we don’t have an email address for you. To provide your email address, please call us at 888-447-7703 (TTY:711). Our hours are 8 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday. We’ll be happy to help.
If you’ve signed your child up for EmblemHealth Child Health Plus through the NY State of Health Marketplace, find out how to pay your first monthly bill here.
To make the first payment now, you will need your child's Member ID number. You can find this number either on the:
- Initial CHPlus Billing Explanation email we sent you, or
- The bill we sent to your home
If you haven’t received this e-mail or bill, we may still be processing your child's transaction. This may take up to 48 hours. Please note that if you have more than one child you must log in and submit payment for each child individually
Haven’t yet received your bill by email or mail?
We may still be processing the application you completed through the NY State of Health Marketplace. This may take up to 48 hours from the time you submitted your application. If you didn’t get an email bill, it may be because we don’t have an email address for you. To provide your email address, please call us at 1-888-447-7703, Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 6 pm.
Our auto bill-pay program simplifies your payments by automatically withdrawing your premium from your bank account each month.
If you had automatic payments during the last coverage year, your automatic payments will continue into the next coverage year. Your first payment of the new coverage year will reflect your new premium amount for that year. The new premium amount appears on a letter from the NY State of Health Marketplace sent in October.

You can sign up for auto bill-pay only after paying your first premium.
To enroll:
- Sign into or register for your secure online myEmblemHealth account.
- Under “Tools That Help You,” click “Pay Your Bill.”
- Under “Pay Your Bill,” click “Set Up Auto Bill-Pay.” (Note: Please do not click “One-Time-Payment” to join auto bill-pay. “One-Time-Payment” is what you click to make a single payment.)
- Follow the instructions to set up payments.
